WEEELABEX certification is a quality mark for companies involved in processing waste electrical and electronic equipment (also known as e-waste). The name stands for Waste of Electric and Electronic Equipment Label of Excellence.

This certification sets strict requirements for:

-Collection, storage, and transportation of equipment

-Environmentally safe and responsible recycling and processing

-Training of personnel and proper operational infrastructure

-Documentation, administration, and full traceability of equipment from origin to final destination

The purpose of WEEELABEX is to ensure that e-waste is managed in a responsible manner, with due consideration for environmental protection, public health, and fair competition within the industry

NTS has held CENELEC certification since March 2024 and is listed as a WEEELABEX operator at https://www.weeelabex.org/operators-list/ . This means that the collection, storage, and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment is carried out in accordance with established quality standards.

VIHB / NIWO

VIHB is a mandatory registration in the Netherlands for companies involved in the transport, collection, trading, or brokerage of commercial waste and hazardous waste.

VIHB stands for Carrier, Collector, Trader, and Broker.

Companies performing one or more of these activities must be registered on the national VIHB list maintained by NIWO (National and International Road Transport Organisation).This registration confirms that the company meets the required standards of reliability and professional competence in waste management operations.
